This top was a gathered waist long skirt. I'd liked the fabric, but gathered waist skirts don't work too well on me |
This was the hem . Which is the reason I bought the skirt. I found the cuff on the street one morning. Oops, forgot to turn this one! |
Here's the pattern I used. I don't even know if they're still in business, but they have a wonderful line of ethnic and vintage patterns. I sometime find them at thrift stores and yard sales. |
This is what's behind me. There's a date palm down the street and when these fall off , I can't just let them lay there. |
You did a wonderful job, the blouse is a fabulous colour and fits you perfectly. The pattern looks good, loving the illustration, it's a work of art in itself!
