 IT WAS A SKIRT

This top was a gathered waist long skirt. I'd liked the  fabric, but gathered waist skirts don't work too well on me
Not a lot of jewelry this morning, the collar is a stand up one. It's still hot in my building, so my hair is going up. How hot was it yesterday? Our  Dean came by,  checking to made sure we all hadn't fainted. The building is being worked on (again) and it's playing havoc with the A/C.

This was the hem . Which is the reason I bought the skirt. I found the cuff on the street one morning. Oops, forgot to turn this one!
Here's the pattern I used. I don't even know if they're still in business, but they have a wonderful line of ethnic and vintage patterns. I sometime find them at thrift stores and yard sales.

This is what's behind me. There's a date palm down the street and when these fall off , I can't just let them lay there.
