Every time you post one of these weird dolls they seem so familiar to me. I think my big sister use to have a set from several countries. I believe they were part of a buying club from a magazine or something like that. The dresses are so beautiful. I once ordered a little Indian doll from a magazine because it was only a penny. But I was only about 10 years old and didn't realize I had bought into a monthly doll club and there was another one on it's way plus a bill for 19.95. Good thing I had a patient mother.
I found out my box of foreign dolls when i was sorting out the robbery at Dad's. My Romanian doll was the same or at least she was until she lost her head! x
