HAPPY FROCKING FRIDAY THE 13th!!!!
I'm wearing dress #1 today. It's from Target, I bought it years ago and I think it cost under $10. It's one of those dresses that pops over your head, no zipper. Dress #2 is a silk dress from Lane Bryant via a thrift store. It had beads all over the front, that I removed. Love the colors and the wizard sleeves. About $5.00. Dress #3 is also from a thrift store. 100% silk from Alfani. Looks like an animal print, but it isn't. Cost $9. I have 2 wedding in the next couple of months and am thinking either (or both) of the silk ones would look great. Hmmm...... Sorry about using a dress form, I have no tripod, and The Doctor takes lousy photos.
You would look loverly in any of these. Take the attention away from the bride! ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday the 13th! I'm enduring a thunder storm at the moment so it seems fitting.
ReplyDeleteMay is give you a blog suggestion? The font of your posts are hard to read, especially the pink. Maybe you could change the color to black, or change the font to an easier to read one. I hope this is not offensive, I just wished when I started blogging people would have given me feedback so my mistakes could have been improved sooner. -Bella Q
Thanks, I'll take all the help I can get!
ReplyDeleteNice dresses!! Target has some decent ones sometimes and they're getting better about it too.
ReplyDeleteI take my own photos and I don't use a tri-pod. I just stack my little camera on top of whatever I can. A stool with books on it, the fireplace mantel, the BBQ out back. haha!
What jolly good bargains!!! Isn't it great when you can plan a wedding-guest outfit that's thrifted? I always feel so smug when I can get away with wearing something knowing that I'm the biggest cheap-skate in the room, but feeling fabulous:)). xo
ReplyDeleteIt sure does! And i made my niece's veil for about $7.00, not the $170.00 my sister in law was bitching about!
