WEIRD* DOLL WEDNESDAY, PART 2

This lovely lady looks like she might be from Turkey, but I'm not sure. Her necklace is real metal. And I love all the rick rack on her costume.    *OED "weird": suggestive of the supernatural, of a mysterious or unearthly character;unaccountably or uncomfortably strange; uncanny. Lest anyone think I'm being rude to the cultures the dolls are from.

    Oops, deleted in error! She's actually Romanian, I collected dolls as a child as my Dad worked abroad and always brought one back, mine was identical except the skirt was red.x

    Thanks! I get most of my dolls at junk shops or on-line and I have to guess what country they come from.

    Vix knows her stuff! I would have guessed eastern Mediterranean, I think,
    Isn't her costume great? I know lots of people don't like weird dolls but I think they are rather adorable! xxx
