Geez, I must be really boring or really busy as I'm down to one post a week. We are really busy at work and my shoulder has been hurting. So, I've been doing nothing, Jon Snow. Ok, HBO had a free weekend and I spent all my free time last Friday, Saturday and Sunday binge watching season 3 and 4 of Game of Thrones.  Moving right along.......

This fellow is carrying a basket of flowers. He's maybe 4-5 inches tall, but look at all the detail. Love his hat. The quality of the photo, not so much. I think he's from Guatemala.

Off to work on Mermaids and Princesses. I made a cutaway coat yesterday and will, of course, post a photo after the fitting today. Also, Ursula is coming right along. We open in 10 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Native American tourist doll, probably Apache or one of the other Southwest tribes. These dolls were/are sold at roadside rest and souvenir stands. The souvenir stands are bi-polar, they have   cheap plastic dolls (like this) and some of them have real Native American made jewelery, pottery and other art. You really can't tell until you go in and look around.

Love the huge basket and large jingle bells.

I've been working for 8 days and it was good to know I didn't forget how to sew. Always...Patsy Cline opens tonight and, of course, I'll be posting photos. I made 2 dresses and yesterday started making Ursula's dress for The Little Mermaid.....sequin everywhere!

Poor Cosette. Too bad about the 18th century shock treatment. I started a summer job yesterday. Helping out at my old summer job, Peach State Summer Theatre. The first show (which I didn't work on) was Les Miserables. Which everyboby calls "Les Miz", because nobody can pronounce "Miserables". Cosette is one of the characters.

The shows I'll be helping with are  Always... Pasty Cline and The Little Mermaid.  yesterday was the first time I'd done a lot of sewing in the past year. I didn't forget how to falling off a log.

WEIRD DOLL WEDNESDAY, PART 150. 150!!!!!!!!!

Wow, 150 weird dolls and I still have more. Let's have another one of my sister-in-laws.

He's lost his clothes, poor fellow. He's made of cloth wrapped around wire. Probably Chinese. Sister-in-Law doesn't remember were she found him.

Proof that I'm still cool: was in Hot Topic today looking at jewelry (because I need more, don't judge) and a young woman asked me were something was. She thought I worked there. For those that don't know, Hot Topic is also called Goth in the Mall, they sell gothy stuff, band t-shirts, body jewelry, hair dye, you know, stuff for my age demographic. I got a kick out of that.
