WEIRD DOLL WEDNESDAY, PART 332                                                                                                                                                  The last of my new Native American dolls.  These little ones, only 3-4 inches tall, are wooden, with a cellulose head. The poor dear on the right looks like their face got stepped on and I'm not sure what the dot is on the other one. They were also made for the tourist trade.

See? Their feet are stamped "Japan". My guess is they are from the 50's or 60's.                                                                                                                                                                                      Next time we'll be going back to Westros.

WEIRD DOLL WEDNESDAY, PART 331

Here's another  of the Native American dolls I got the other week. This one screams "tourist souvenir". Although her dress is real leather and the beadwork, skimpy as it is, is nice. She has "sleepy eyes" and odd looking shoes.

WEIRD DOLL WEDNESDAY, PART 330                                                                                                                                                Let the countdown begin. 2 months until the season 8 premier of Game of Thrones. I got lots on new Funko dolls to share. Up first:

Gendry (Baratheon) bastard son of King Robert. Not Cersi's son(check out GrayArea on you tube for a video about that nonsense theory) We first met Gendry while his working as a blacksmith in Flea Bottom. To save him, he's shipped off to join the Night's Watch were he meets Arya. In a long involved storyline, he's put in a boat by Ser Davos and not seen again for 4(?) seasons. He came back in season 7, went beyond the wall with that group and who knows (George R. R. Martin?) what's going to become of him.

WEIRD DOLL WEDNESDAY, PART 329                                                                                                                                                The other day I won 4 Native American dolls on an auction site. Here's the first one.
By the state on her clothes, I say she's pretty old. Her legs are wood and her head is clay.

Here's a close up of her face and her little baby. There's no markings on her and I have no idea what tribe she is from. Any ideas?
