WEIRD DOLL WEDNESDAY...NOPE, WEIRD WEATHER!

Here in the Deep South ( almost Florida) we're having a strange cold snap. It's dropping into   the mid-20's overnight. I woke up this morning to frozen rain.

 Icicles on my roof.

 Ice covering the trash can.

Ice everywhere. Around 9:30am, I looked out the window and it was SNOWING!!!!!!!!!The last time that happened was 1989! We ran outside, along with half the neighbors, to enjoy the snow.

Big fat flakes! The Doctor is walking in the street.

The deck out the back window.

 The back steps.

 Snow on the palmetto palms.

 The saucer filled up, so.................................

I made a snowball. An icy snowball, would have made a good snow cone, but I throw it at The Doc.

When I went to work at 1pm, snow was still on the ground, at 5pm it was pretty much all gone. Now it's going to be a very cold night. There were also something like 85 accidents this morning. People here don't know how to drive in ice and snow. Good news, by next Monday it will be 68!

Stay warm, and drive safely if you're in the storm zone!

  1. I can't believe your weather - you're usually sweltering when we're in thermals and under the snow. I bet you've enjoyed the change!

  2. It's been SO cold here but we haven't gotten a dang drop of snow in Texarkana, TX. My husband saw some flurries while driving one night but dang it that's it!

  3. Snow on the palmettos! I've family in Charleston who report more than 5" on the ground, and a grand time being had by all except the motorists.

  4. What's going on with the weather?! Hahaha, at least you and Doc had fun in the snow for the short while it has lasted. It looks very pretty, but I'm always relieved when it goes away. Stay warm!
