Before I show them to you, let's see the last 20 or so years of frames.  I checked out on-line frame stores and liked some of them. But the new frames I got at my eye doctor's ended up only costing $36! I tried on a lot and don't care about "designer frames" (or I would have bought the Prada ones!) I buy frames that look good on my face. To hell with what's trendy.

Damn, it looks like I'm some kind of fashionista label whore!

First up: Jean Paul Gaultier frames I got in California about 20 years ago. Yeah, they were $$$ but I wore them everyday for almost 10 years.

Pair #2: The frames are red and they are very light weight. The nose bridge thingy started to get really lose, which made them slip down my face all the time. It's too bad, because I love round frames. For some reason they're really hard to find.

#3 the pair I've been wearing for the past 4 years.

#4 the new pair

on my face

  1. Too right, wear what suits you and those specs really do! xxx

  2. BEAUTIFUL! I love the sides too!

  3. They look great on you! Good choice. xx

  4. Yes! Contemporary glamour, it's you!

  5. Always wear what suits you, they are fab!

  6. You are always on the cutting edge of fashion you lovely thing you! :D

  7. I couldn't have said it better myself. I always tell my friends that they should get eyeglasses that frame their faces well. It doesn’t matter if they are labeled or not. Anyway, I love your collection there. You really know what to pick. My favorite among the bunch would be the third one, but of course, the new one looks great as well. Thanks so much for sharing! Stay beautiful, Miss Garnet!
