 HAPPY FRIDAY!

What's all that behind me?
Holy cow! It's the Infant of Prague collection! And that's one of four, yes 4, fireplaces in my house. (They don't work, but what the heck)

Today's jewelry collage: The 2 necklaces are from a 10 pound grab bag on -line auction, which I think cost $80(for 10 pounds!) The one one the left is from a store called Chico's and the other one is vintage YSL. The Day of the Dead earring and Ganesha bracelet are from Marlene, the little owls are Betsey Johnson, the other bracelets are from who knows where. Enjoy your weekend, I'll be at work tomorrow making some more awesomeness.

sounds like your fireplaces work perfectly for displaying all your cool stuff. Would be a blast to come over to your place.

  2. I've often studied those grab-bag online auction for jewelry and always wondered how one would know how to bid on them. Impressed that you have 4 fireplaces. What year was your home built?

    1. I think my house was built in the 1920's. The fireplaces are shallow and even in Georgia, aren't up to code. All of them are sealed. With the jewelry, I just took a chance. I set a cut-off price and don't go over it. I figured that in 10 pounds of jewelry, there had to be something worth wearing. With broken pieces I came use the pieces for new projects.

  3. How cool - four fireplaces mean four mantelpieces. The Infant of Prague display on this one is beautiful. You wear this jewellery spectacularly.

  4. I love your Infant of Prague display, more is definitely more, and you rock the floral head piece.
All our rooms, the bedrooms, kitchen and even our bathroom has a fireplace, maybe it's normal in old British homes given the crap weather! x
